Refund of living expenses
Here you can find out how to get a refugee and living expenses reimbursement
Persons who have taken under their roof war refugees from Ukraine, may from 16.03.2022 apply for refinancing of the cost of their stay. Applications are considered by local governments, whose tasks include also the payment of benefits.
Under the Law of 12.03.2022 on Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine in Connection with Armed Conflict on the Territory of Ukraine (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 583; hereinafter: AidUkraineU), persons who provide shelter to refugees from Ukraine may apply for refinancing the cost of their stay.
The amount of the cash benefit will be PLN 40 per day per person, or up to PLN 1,200 per month. You will get paid for 2 months of help.
